Strength & Sensitivity is a concert experience blending percussion music, poetry readings, and multimedia exploring the impact of stereotypes, social-emotional intelligence, and the intersection of art and the gender equality movement.The Boston program will feature 22 local musicians playing original works ranging from rap to funk, classical, experimental, musical theatre, and soul, within the framework of poetry from Gloria Anzaldua and Maya Angelou, and music by contemporary heavy hitters Julia Wolfe and John Cage.

Guest artist Misha Thomas will perform on the tabla.
